Radio International, Clandestine Radio Watch has learned from an anonymous tip, is broadcast on behalf of the Worker-Communist Party of Iran (WCP).
In addition, the station has its own website with updated Real Audio recordings of its broadcasts:
www.radio-international.org
According to the source, who is an active member of the Iranian expat community, Radio International was founded by Ms. Azar Majedi, who is a member of the political bureau of the WCP.
The stations website, which is entirely in Farsi, also seems to confirm reports published by the BBC Monitoring that Radio International supports Ali Javadi and his magazine, "Poresh," which is critical of the government in Tehran.
With the slogan "Voice of Workers, Voice of Freedom, Voice of Equality and Voice of Humanity," it broadcasts at *1700-1730* UTC on 15550 kHz. |
